What is required to book a date?
A non-refundable deposit is required to hold a date.
Can you make payments with a credit card?
Yes, payments can be made with credit card (additional fees apply.)
Is there information available regarding the tables and chairs to be provided at the venue, the floor plans, and the décor niche dimensions?
Yes, you can find all of that information, along with much more, in the resource tab of the website.
Are linens provided?
No, but the recommended sizes needed for each of the tables provided (and a list of reliable vendors) are in the resource section of the website.
Can engagement photos and bridal portraits be taken on the property?
Yes, when couples book an event at Magnolia Bells, bridal and engagement photos can be scheduled at no charge, based on availability.
Is there an additional fee to setup and breakdown tables and chairs?
No, table and chair setup and breakdown are complimentary and based on the client-provided floorplan.
How many events are scheduled each day on the property?
There is only one event per day.
Can we do a rehearsal the day before our wedding?
Yes, rehearsals can be scheduled 30 days in advance based on the current availability of the chapel.
Are generators provided for the facility?
Yes, full back-up generators are provided for all four venues on the property including the barn, chapel, bride’s cottage, and cabin.
Can we bring in our own liquor and bartenders for the reception?
No, all liquor purchases must go through Magnolia Bells Events. We provide a variety of packages for all budgets.
Can we bring in our own liquor to the bride's cottage, chapel and cabin?
No, you cannot bring liquor into the facility. However, if you would like a particular beverage upon arrival at the chapel, bride’s cottage or cabin, you can make that request two weeks prior to the event with the bar manager at Magnolia Bells Events. Your selection will be provided at retail pricing and available when you arrive at the venue.
Can we use our own vendors?
Yes, with the exception of bar service, you can use your own licensed vendors.
Is trash maintained in the barn during the event?
Yes, we will have someone removing and emptying the trash during the event. However, they do not bus tables. You will need to arrange table busing through your caterer or another outside vendor.
Are golf carts provided to transfer guests at the event?
No, there is no scheduled driver or golf carts provided, but you can add a golf cart transfer service for an additional fee.
Is the facility handicap accessible?
The bride’s cottage, chapel and barn are all handicap accessible. The cabin, however, is not.
Do I have to have wedding insurance?
No, you are not required to have wedding insurance.
Is there an onsite wedding planner at the rehearsal and the day of the event?
No, the representative onsite the day of the event is there to monitor the facility and ring the bell. A planner or coordinator can be arranged at an additional fee, based on availability, or an outside planner can be brought in.
Can the cabin be rented out to people not attending an event on the property?
No, only guests of the event can use the cabin. If none of the guests for that weekend use the facility it will not be rented out during that time period.
